The results are in and apparently we need fertilizer.  You would think that this was a no brainer.  However, I thought that with all the compost and manure that I put in the garden last year that there would have been plenty of nutrients.  Well…not so much.

I purchased a cheap soil test kit from Home Depot.

The pH of our soil is great for growing veggies.  It is however lacking in the nutrient department, especially the Nitrogen.

Next up… Amending the soil.
